"I have suffered with chronic lower back pain for years. This has been frustrating as I have worked hard on my own and in group exercises to be conscious of form and to keep my core strong. What frustrated me most especially in my CrossFit classes was not having someone actually work to show me when my form was not correct or to help me understand the risks I face when I increase the intensity of my workout, or the amount of weight I was lifting.
Donnie started the sessions by first, trying to understand my fitness goals. Each week we would work together to set new targets. She tailored the workouts accordingly by increasing strength (adding weight slowly), improving endurance, and focusing on specific muscle groups. By the end of each session, we had a total body workout. She checked with me frequently to understand my challenges, and then made necessary adjustments to my training. Although each workout was hard, my body was not fatigued. In addition to strength training, she is focused on my overall well-being. She talks about good nutrition and the importance of fueling the body with the right nutrients by following a balanced diet that align with my fitness goals. She also encouraged make sleep a priority. Working out with Donnie has been amazing. I can’t recommend her enough!!"

I have had chronic lower back pain for about 15 years and wasted so much time and money on interventions that didn't help (chiro care, decompression, traditional PT, modifying workouts, steroid injections). It got to the point that I couldn't perform basic functions like bending over to put my pants on or to pick up my toddler. I started with Donnie and after a few months, I am now about 95% pain-free, feeling great, and moving so much better than I ever have.
I tell everyone and anyone about Donnie! Especially since I am so connected to the CrossFit community and everyone seems to have aches and pains. Donnie literally improved my quality of life in a way I didn't think was possible.
