We're constantly inundated with messages about physical decline in middle age. It's a narrative that suggests once you reach 40, discomfort and deterioration are inevitable, urging you to resign to a sedentary lifestyle. As a middle aged woman, I've heard this sentiment countless times from those older than myself.
But here's what I know: while your middle-aged body is different than what it used to be, you can cultivate a resilient body that allows you to pursue what matters most as you continue to age. No need to spend hours in the gym - small amounts of effort over long periods of time add up to big changes.
Since starting to professionally help people reclaim their active lives, I have discovered the power of a process where education, mentoring and movement all combine for the most holistic approach to guiding each individual to their goal.

Through my personal journey and education I have become passionate about helping individuals learn to prioritize their health without sacrificing the things they enjoy most in life. I have been a local in the Payson, Arizona community since 2011, where I reside with my husband and four kids.
In 2003, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Food and Nutrition Management and went on to work in the corporate world. In 2008, I decided I wanted to be home with my kids more and took a job at my local gym. This allowed me to get a free membership and my kids were able to attend the gym daycare for free while I worked.
After working on the administrative side of the gym I quickly realized my passion was in coaching. I became certified as a group fitness instructor and a few years later got certified as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). My passion lies in encouraging women to become strong, build confidence and that we can continue to live an active and fulfilling life as we age. We are all capable of reaching our goals with the right support, consistency and dedicated approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. My favorite activities include enjoying the beautiful outdoors whether that's at the lake, the beach or walking through my neighborhood. I love working on my own fitness, makeup, fashion, reading, traveling, and watching my kids in all of their sport and academic activities. I thoroughly enjoy feeling like I am getting the most out of life and living it to its fullest potential.
As a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, and through my education at NASM and Active Life, I am equipped to work with your unique strengths and limitations to help you break free of your comfort zone so you can reach your full potential. With my guidance, you will build the education, strength, and confidence you need to embrace your active lifestyle and improve the quality of your life without having to give up the things you enjoy most.
